It’s been almost a year and a half since I have joined the team, and one of the things I have learned while working in Studio Present is that, even if seems like it is, nothing is perfect - there’s always space for improvement, whether it comes to a design, development, workflow and even company culture. However, we always strive for perfection. That’s why each one of us in the team uses a plethora of tools to get things done as perfect as possible.

- Can you make me an irrigation controller?

- Give me one week.

One week is enough to make a working controller. It was neither good nor nice but it worked.
But it turned out that ONE YEAR is required to work well.

I know that you are a little sceptic, but believe me cheeseburger is always better than hamburger. Ok, I'm just kidding. But we needed a universal mobile menu for our Drupal commerce project. (The goal was to create it for mobile, but you can use it for desktop as well.) So it is universal, cool, fancy, commerce or not commerce, not desktop but yet desktop menu.

Last year we started to implement our first Drupal Commerce 2.x projects. We had it in our mind, but we never dedicated the time to create a properly working, user friendly, cool "My profile" page. Now we did it!

By default Drupal Commerce 2.x and Commerce Shipping modules come with two nice conditions Limit by total price and Limit by shipment weight. But in some cases these conditions are not good enough for restricting shipping methods.

Back in January I worked on a Drupal 8 project. And I needed to use SVG images across multiple content types. Only problem was that Drupal 8 doesn't support SVG images out of the box. So, I had a choice, not use beautiful and scalable SVG images at all or find a solution. Being a Drupal developer and passionate about programming, of course I choose the second option. After I completed module development, I decided that I will share it with the community. Ten months later, SVG Formatter is used on more than 1100 Drupal 8 sites. I'm really proud of this.

The first Hackathon in Subotica (Serbia) was held on November 11, 2017. The goal of the competition was to prepare a service/website/application which helps the people of Subotica and can be useful for the city and be ready to use only in 24 hours.

Eight teams were competing and the team of "Atomic Ants" - from Studio Present took the first place by creating a service “Scratch My Back”. They have won a prize of €1.000.

The website is based on Drupal 8 platform. Due to a very short time, it was a rapid development and Drupal outstandingly played its role.

One of the requirements in one of our recent Drupal Commerce 2.x project was that each product should have a sale price field. In this post I will share with you how I implemented this feature.

I am handling 20+ projects at the same time. There are always 2-3 new ongoing projects and there is also a huge number of clients who want upgrades.
